Logistics / Material control manager

Luxus Limited is at the leading edge of technical innovation in plastic compounding. The Logistics Department is responsible for the collection of thermoplastic scrap in various forms and the delivery of finished product for UK and export, including warehousing.

This is a fast moving and challenging area of the organisation and we require a Logistics Manager with a proven track record to meet the challenges this role presents.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of transport, warehousing and supply chain management throughout Europe. They must have excellent communication and decision making skills, be experienced in building and managing a team and have the ability to liaise at all levels in the organisation.

Laboratory manager

Luxus Limited is at the leading edge of technical innovation in plastic compounding. Specialising in the supply of thermoplastic compounds, based upon prime and/or recycled feedstocks, the purpose built Technical Development Centre is key to both our own and our customers ongoing success.

This is a fast moving and challenging area of the organisation and we require a Laboratory Manager with a proven track record who can respond to the ever changing nature of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of polymers or be employed in an associated industry, although general laboratory experience with the right candidate will be considered. Good colour vision is essential, with experience in pigments and colour formulations being an advantage.

The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, experienced in managing a team and liaising at all levels of the organisation.

Machine operators – Fast moving factory environment

Luxus are one of the UK's largest independent specialists in the development and manufacture of thermoplastic compounds; recycling and plastics waste management services; technical support, testing and analysis. We have custom built state-of-the-art technology compounding extrusion equipment and the latest Erema recycling plant that can handle a variety of feedstocks. 

We are always keen to receive applications from anyone interested in working as a machine operator at our recycling and compounding sites.  Working on one of our fixed day, night or weekend shifts you would be part of a small, friendly team in a busy production environment.

Previous experience is not essential as full training is provided.  However, applicants should have a positive attitude to safety and quality, and possess good numeracy and literacy skills.

At the compounding site good colour vision is required and both sites require the ability work at height and to carry out lifting activities. A counterbalance fork truck licence is an advantage, particularly for anyone interested in working at the recycling facility.
