We believe career development comes in many forms, and Natalie’s journey is a great example of how hands-on experience, and the right support can shape a career.

With a scientific background, Natalie gained experience across multiple departments: Quality, Sales, HR, and Process. She then moved into Technical Development, where she earned an APM Project Management qualification to support grant-funded projects.

Now, she’s stepped into her new role as Laboratory and Technical Manager, a testament to her hard work, growth, and the opportunities available at Luxus. The journey doesn’t stop there, as Natalie is now working towards a PhD, something she never imagined when she first joined.

Simon joined Luxus as a graduate with limited manufacturing experience, but with the right support, he developed his skills and found his place in Quality.

Over the years, he has taken on key responsibilities, from leading ISO audits to managing a complex ERP system rollout at Colour Tone Masterbatch. These experiences have helped him build expertise and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards across the business.

Luxus has supported Simon’s development every step of the way, offering training such as a Lean Manufacturing apprenticeship, Six Sigma certification, and ISO 9001 Internal Audit qualification. By investing in its people, the company ensures they have the tools to succeed.

Gemma’s journey at Luxus is a perfect example of how exploring different areas of the business can shape a career.

With a management degree, Gemma wanted to build a long-term career. Since joining Luxus, she has gained hands-on experience across Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Stock Management, and Production, giving her a broad and well-rounded understanding of the business.

From developing people skills and customer relations to taking on risk assessments and negotiations, Gemma has built a diverse skill set that has not only helped her grow but has also opened doors for new opportunities within the company.
